             Zandvoort,
July 28, 2004 Next to the Formula 3 race, in which the best
drivers from the various international championships will be taking
part, the demonstrations are also an important and popular part
of the programme during the Marlboro Masters of Formula 3. This
year on August 7 and 8, there are spectacular demonstrations at
the Circuit Park Zandvoort, with Ferrari and Ducati in the spotlights.
Impressive world championship-winning Formula 1 machinery and thoroughbred
Italian motorcycles will without any doubt be making a lasting impression
to the crowd. As an additional attraction on Sunday, August 8, John
Bosch will, circumstances permitting, attempt to improve the existing
lap record at the Circuit Park Zandvoort. Currently, this record
is at 1.19.880 minutes, set by Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer during
the Marlboro Masters of Formula 3 in 2002.

            John
Bosch, who will be driving one of the world title winning Ferraris
from the years 1999 till 2002 at Zandvoort, has acquired a lot of
experience with Ferrari Formula 1 cars during numerous events and
test sessions over the past years. Anyone who knows Bosch will also
know that the Dutch driver is by no means someone making bold claims
without being able to prove them. Therefore, his ambitions of improving
Luca Badoers lap record must certainly be taken seriously,
although Bosch himself is warning for expectations running too high:
Of course, I dont underestimate Lucas record.
After all, he is very quick and over the last ten years, he has
probably racked up more mileage for the Formula 1 team than anyone
else with a Ferrari. At the time, his fastest lap at Zandvoort was
the result of a determined and serious attempt with a car and an
engine that were at its best. During the Marlboro Masters of Formula
3, we will try and see what we are capable of doing with a similar
car, together with Ferrari personnel. Provided the circumstances,
the weather and set-up are suitable, then, for sure, we will be
              making a serious attempt.

            Next
to multiple race and rally champion John Bosch, former Le Mans-winner
Jan Lammers and the two ex-Ferrari works drivers Jacky Ickx and
René Arnoux will also be driving Ferrari Formula 1 cars during
the Marlboro Masters of Formula 3. German stunt rider, Christian
Pfeiffer, will provide a demonstration with Ducati motorcycles.
This year, the demonstrations are planned on Saturday, August 7,
              at 14.30 h and on Sunday, August 8, at 14.10 h.

            Two
days of action with one ticket
              Traditionally,
Sunday is race day during the Marlboro Masters of Formula
3, but, just like in 2003, the Saturday is also a day not to be
missed. The entire Formula 3 programme with three practice sessions,
qualifying sessions, warm-up and the race all takes place in two
              days.
            This
means that not only do the Formula 3 drivers have to get to know
the track and find the right set-up on Saturday, they also have
to set a quick lap time. This means plenty of action on Saturday,
which is almost completely occupied by Formula 3 and the spectacular
demonstrations mentioned above. Tickets for the Marlboro Masters
of Formula 3 can be ordered at the more than 1,000 sales points
of Ticket Box, including Primera and Free Record Shop (see www.ticketbox.nl
or call 0900-9393 (0.45 Euro/min) for locations). Tickets for the
              outside enclosures are € 19 in pre-sale and € 22 during
the event at the gates of the Circuit Park Zandvoort. Tickets give
access both on Saturday, August 7, and on Sunday, August 8. A combined
dunes/paddock/main grand stand ticket is € 60 for two days
and includes a numbered grand stand seat. The paddock ticket for
Saturday and Sunday is new. It costs € 40 and is only available
in limited numbers. On Friday, August 6, admission costs €
7 for all locations, paddock included. Every visitor gets the full
              colour event programme for free.

the action at home on SBS6
              Anyone
who is not able to be at Zandvoort to watch the unique action during
the Marlboro Masters of Formula 3 is obviously missing out on a
whole lot, but at least has an alternative: the experienced crew
of SBS6 Autosport will be bringing the action to your home live.
Part of the programme is live coverage of the Formula 3 race and
extensive round-ups of all the other races, backgrounds, interviews
              and features.
