                  Kimball snatches pole position at Thruxton

                    Kimball secured his first ever pole position in the British 
                    F3 International Series at Thruxton. The Carlin Motorsport 
                    driver set a time of 1.07.140, which saw him 0.256 seconds 
                    ahead of second placed Mike Conway from Fortec Motorsport. 
                    The current Championship leader, Alvaro Parente (Carlin Motorsport), 
                    finished in third place with a time of 1.07:534. 
                    
                  Christian 
                    Bakkerud (Carlin Motorsport), Tim Bridgman and Marko Asmer 
                    (both Hitech Motorsport) completed the top six in the Championship

                  Charlie 
                    Hollings secured yet another pole position in the National 
                    Class., setting a time of 1:08.641. The Promatecme driver 
                    had a tough battle with Jonathan Kennard (Alan Docking Racing), 
                    and the two drivers were only separated by 0.007 seconds in 
                    the end. National Class leader Barton Mawer from T-Sport finished 
                    in third, setting a time of 1:08.751.
