                  Francorschamps Test Round-Up
                   Date:
                    24~25.03.2005
                    Circuit: Spa Francorchamps (Belgium)
Drivers: Marco Bonanomi, Greg Franchi, Franck Perera

The first official test of the Formula 3 Euro Series 2005
Championship took place in the Belgian circuit of Spa Francorschamps.
An occasion where all the drivers and teams that will participate
in the Championship were present, for a two-day test on one
of the most fascinating circuits in the world. The third appointment
of the Euro Series will be taking place here.
On both days the weather conditions were very changeable .
"Greg's performance was positive" said Massimo Lombardi,
Greg Franchi's race engineer. "During these two days
of test we continued with the development of the vehicle.
This was the first real occasion to compete with all the drivers
                    registered for the forthcoming championship."
The comments of our Team Manager, Davide De Gobbi, were also
positive: "This first test demonstrated that the next
championship will have a high level, with many drivers fighting
for the final victory. The overall results were positive,
even if we did not achieve a grand finale. We hope that this
season will give us considerable satisfaction."
Marco Bonanomi: "These were two encouraging days. The
vehicle was certainly well balanced under wet and dry conditions.
The final result does not show our real potentialities."
Greg Franchi : "Under wet weather conditions the car
was really fast and well balanced. The last session was not
so good and affected the final result."
Franck Perera : "On Thursday, although I did not take
advantage of the new tyres, I managed to obtain good chronometric
results. Yesterday, when the circuit was wet we were very
competitive. In the afternoon, when the track was faster,
we had some set up problems that did not allow me to perform
as expected. Besides, I did not drive outstandingly and I
                    made some slight mistakes."
The second official test will be taking place in a week's
time on the German circuit of Hockenheim.
